2015-2016 Ford 6.7L - Some trucks may set a crankcase ventilation sensor code even if the truck isn't equipped with a CCV. This will set a check engine light. The truck will run properly but you will still have a check engine light and DTC. Remote start will not work. THE SCT CUSTOM TUNER OPTION MAY BE BETTER FOR YOUR TRUCK.

The H&S Mini Maxx comes with preloaded tunes that will allow you to delete all of your emission components while ensuring that you don’t have any check engine lights or DTCs (diagnostic trouble codes.)
Most people using the Mini Maxx delete tunes have reported a substantial increase of mpg, often as much as 2 to 5 MPG when paired with the correct DPF delete pipe and EGR block off kit.
Once you flash the appropriate race tune for your model truck, your DPF exhaust regeneration cycles and EGR system will be inactive. Most people like to install an EGR delete or block off kit in conjunction with the race tune so that the possibility of leaks are eliminated. You are able to run with the EGR system still in place and just turned off, but it is better to block it off.
Installing the H&S Mini Maxx is quite simple and is one of the fastest and cheapest ways to eliminate all the restrictions of your emissions systems. Often regarded as one of the best race tuners on the market, the H&S Mini Maxx will make a great addition to your diesel.
What about emissions?
The race tunes on the Mini Maxx are designed for off-road use only. If you live in a different country without such requirements, the Mini Maxx is a great option to affordably tune your truck.
Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) Delete:
The Mini Maxx enables you to remove all components of your DPF system and also turns off codes for the related sensors, eliminating check engine lights.
Exhaust Gas Re-circulation (EGR) Delete
Disables the EGR function and any related check engine lights and DTCs. Will work alone by shutting down the EGR system with it is still in place and will also work in conjunction with an EGR block off kit.
Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) Delete:
If your truck uses an urea injection system, this tuner will allow you to turn it off completely, which will allow you to remove the tank and all related sensors.
Catalytic Converter Removal
When using the Mini Maxx tunes, you are able to delete your cat without having any DTCs or check engine lights pop up.
ULSD (Ultra-Low Sulfur Diesel) not required If you’re running the Mini Maxx emission removal tunes on your truck, you now have the option to use high sulfur diesel, especially helpful in underdeveloped areas with no options for buying ultra low sulfur diesel fuel.
Installation Tips and Tricks
2008-2010 Ford 6.4L Powerstroke
The 6.4L Powerstroke preloaded tune does not require the EGR system to be unplugged or blocked off, however it is a good idea to install a block off kit in order to keep the engine bay tidy and the chances of coolant leaks to a minimum. You’ll need to install a DPF delete pipe and remove all of the sensors associated with the factory exhaust system. You’ll usually find three EGT sensors and a pressure sensor that you have to unplug and remove. It’s recommended that you tape over any open connectors so that dirt and water can’t enter them.
2011-2014 Ford 6.7L Powerstroke
The 6.7L has a couple more things to pay attention to when installing a tuner. On the 6.7 you have to make sure to unplug the sensors and everything else associated with the EGR system, otherwise you will cause damage to the system itself.You can simply unplug the DEF (urea injection) system and leave it installed, or you can remove the tank and the whole mess completely if you want to clean up all the unnecessary junk.
When you install the required DPF delete pipe, you’ll need to remove all the sensors that were plugged in for the DPF system. You’ll have 3 EGT sensors, a N0x sensor, one DEF system urea injector, and a pressure sensor.
2007-2009 Dodge 6.7L Cummins
The 07-09 requires you to unplug everything associated with the EGR system if you’re not installing an EGR block off kit.On the exhaust side, there are 3 EGT sensors, 1 pressure sensor and 2 o2 sensors that need to be unplugged when you install the DPF delete pipe.
2010-2012 Dodge 6.7L CumminsYou don’t have to unplug the EGR system on the 10-12 cummins, you can leave it in place if you want. The tune will turn off the EGR functions and you can just leave it that way if you don’t want to clean up the engine bay with a block off kit. The same warnings apply about possible coolant leaks from the EGR system still being installed however.
The 2011-2012 cab and chassis trucks have an DEF urea injection system that has to be unplugged, or alternatively you can go the extra step and remove it completely. If you don’t at least unplug the urea injection sensors then you will most likely have either dash messages warning you about the system or you may also get a check engine light.
When you’re installing your DPF delete pipe, you’ll want to unplug all of the sensors that are installed in your factory DPF system.

The SOTF Switch is needed to correctly run SOTF tunes. Without the switch installed, your tune will default to the lowest power level. Installing the switch will allow you to adjust power levels and maximize your vehicle’s performance instantly.
TCM Tuning will increase the line pressure in your transmission so it can keep up with all the added power your engine will be producing from the tunes. We highly recommend TCM tuning to anyone with a 68RFE that plans on running anything more than a tow tune. Please specify if you have any transmission modifications when ordering TCM Tuning!!

Living up to the brand name, EZ LYNK has made the installation process simple. We’ve broken down each step and provided some valuable information that will help you understand how your AutoAgent works.
Step One: Download & Install the AutoAgent App
Step Two: Create an Account
From the AutoAgent app, select ‘create an account’. You will need to verify that your email address is valid upon creation. Dealers should always create an account for the end-user or use the account that the end-user has already created.
Step Three: Place Your Key in the ‘Run’ Position
Turn your key all the way over without starting the vehicle. This will boot your vehicle’s engine computer allowing the AutoAgent to communicate with it. If you have a push-to-start vehicle, you should press the Start button twice.
Step Four: Plug the AutoAgent into your OBD-II Port
With the key in the ‘Run’ position, plug your AutoAgent into your vehicle’s On-Board Diagnostics port. You can verify that it has booted correctly when you see that a blue and green light are illuminating from the device.
Step Five: Connect to your AutoAgent from your Smart Device
Navigate to the WiFi settings of your smart device and select the ‘EZLYNK_####’ network. A check mark will appear next to the network name when you have successfully connected. The AutoAgent 3 also allows you to connect via Bluetooth.
Step Six: Open the AutoAgent App
After you’ve successfully connected, you can navigate back to the AutoAgent app. You should now be able to see your vehicle gauges.
Step Seven: Lynk your Vehicle
When you purchase from Elite Diesels or an authorized dealer, your vehicle will be AutoLynked. If your smart device has cellular data, you will notice that a message has appeared asking you to lynk the vehicle. Follow these prompts to connect your vehicle with your mechanic/technician. If your smart device does not have cellular data, you will need to connect to an internet available network and re-open the app to complete the lynking process.
Step Eight: Program Your Vehicle
After completing the lynking steps you are ready to flash your vehicle.
Navigate to > Vehicle > ECU Profiles. Here you can view the list of tunes or ECU profiles that are available to you.
Tap the button to download your desired ECU profile, followed by the ‘Install’ button to flash your vehicle. The app will guide you through the flashing procedure.
(When using a smart devices without cellular data you will need to switch to an internet available network to download the ECU profile, then back to the EZ LYNK network to install the ECU profile.)
Power Levels: 0hp up to 200hp+ Depending on truck and modifications.

Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) - The EZ Lynk is a DPF delete capable tuner. The DPF must be removed when installing the EZ Lynk. DPF Delete Pipe.
Catalytic Converter (CAT) - We recommend doing a CAT delete at the same time as the DPF delete.
Diesel Oxidation Catalyst (DOC) - If equipped, the DOC can be deleted.
Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) - If equipped, the SCR can be deleted.
Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) - The EZ Lynk Auto Agent 3.0 will de-activate the EGR system. The EGR valve & EGR cooler can remain installed but unplug from any wiring harness or can be completely removed with an EGR delete kit. We recommend completely removing the EGR system but either option is available.
Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) - 2013+ trucks in stock form require DEF. This will no longer be required when installing an EZ Lynk. The DEF tank can be removed completely or the wiring harness can just be unplugged.
Diagnostic Trouble Codes / Check Engine Light - The EZ Lynk Auto Agent 3.0 will prevent any emission related DTC’s or check engine light from setting. However, if some other issue comes up you will still be alerted. DTC’s can be checked / cleared.
Fuel Mileage - Expect to see a significant fuel mileage gains. If your DPF is plugged up your probably averaging about 13-14 mpg. More or less depending on the severity of the restriction. After installing the EZ Lynk and deleting the DPF/CAT expect to get a combined mileage of 18-19 mpg. Larger tires and poor driving habits will skew mileage downward.
